Very interesting. I can't comment on how impactful the lyrics are, because well, I don't speak Hymmnos. It sounds lovely, and the beat is nice. It has a nice buildup in it, it would be lovely to hear the whole thing some time. If there's ever a music video with it, I picture fairies in a forest near a waterfall.

Troisnyx responds:

Funny you mention that, the cross-fade of CC2 Side Blue looked fairy-like and waterfall-like, but just with a stream of souls and things, a tree, loads of flowers and some butterflies. Side Red would be a more energetic parallel to it, I imagine.

Nice beat for a potential lyrical hip hop track. It isn't too in your face, so it won't override any potential vocal stem. It does need a slight adjustment to loop seamlessly, but that should be an easy fix if you wanted. Good work!

KnockVoltage responds:

Thanks!

Nice beat to this one. I can definitely visualize a nice snowfall (even if I don't want to right now). My only negative thought is I think it may not be the best fit into ambient. Good work nevertheless!

Lovely blend of piano with DnB. The pacing was fast and upbeat, bit it had a nice breather midway. I liked how it rebuilt back up to the same level instead of just shocking into it. As the final notes came, I found myself wanting more. Good work!

Thank you very much <3

Interesting track. I personally feel the opening segment could do with a rework, stretching each note to meet the next without the silence between them. It had a steam train feel to it, which could really be a story in itself. The sharp cutoff at the end is a bit jarring as well, maybe fade it out with elements of the intro?

The bells, waves breaking and seagulls were interesting elements in this track. I liked the climax at 2:35, the other sounds were still there but no longer the focus by that point. Good work!

I'd suggest "Time marches forward" for a title. The beat has a bit of a marching theme to it, it's upbeat. I can picture a character moving along a forest path towards a distant castle.

Roydley responds:

That's a good suggestion. I can totally feel that. All the songs that I made were supposed to have a cool adventurous feel to it.

You seem to be nailing the demo. Gotta make the monies to upgrade to producer now. A little bit of grilling will follow:

0:47 felt out of place, but it came back at 1:45 and felt a little more part of the track. There was a good beat consistent right until it cut off at 4:15, then came back at 4:19, that was a bit jarring. I know the extensions in demo are minimal, but I'd maybe look to soften that bit if you wanted to move it out of focus. That last bit is really my only complaint, I had this prepped at a 4 but took it down half with the sharp stem cut (rounded down up to 4 on vote, such is life). Keep at it man!

Ask and you shall receive. Cut out maybe seven of the nine second trail off. This is more of a DnB than it is Ambient, so there's that. And finally the snares at the end seemed out of place, due to the "ambient" genre, and length of track.

All that aside, it's a good start to some good stuff. Take my words to heart or not, but keep on creating. Above all, create for yourself and self-improvement more than what us weirdos on here say.

StaminaNG responds:

Thanks, I changed the genre.

Good start! The bass has some good feel to it, and it loops fairly well. It'll be nice to see this incorporated into a full song in the future!

I want buns of steel but also buns of cinnamon.
