Good short. I had something similar happen to me once with the bus taking off without me, so I feel the character’s end statement in my soul.

Awesome job! The audio was clear and voicework very well done. Animation was smooth, and I appreciated the facial expressions. I don’t think there’s anything to give as an improvement suggestion.

I like how the slippery banana peel trope still has creative inspiration. Dangerous things, banana peels.

Very fun! I liked how the music changed temp/mood based on the scene, and how it muted with the pokeball closing. I was half expecting a Kirby butterfly.

It's interesting how the textures were used in different scenes. Some backgrounds were plain gradient, some had a spackling to it (not sure the effect name). It kept the backgrounds interesting, and I don't think it took away from it since the individual scenes were consistent.

Good work! Congrats on Daily 4th!

Thanks for the great review and the nice words, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Nice work! I appreciated the subtitles, there were a few parts (I'm ready x4) where the voice seeed to conflict a bit with the sound of equipment.

Good job on the animation, I liked the simple background using multiple green shades.

And I think we've all suffered backfill, at least some games award consolation experience for it.

The backgrounds were simple and clear; they fit with the style of animation. The character animation was well done, no super obvious gaps in tweening. The music went well with it, but I would have liked a bit more sound effects for the stomp/shake. Maybe a quick cut of why the mech was shaking, as it went on for 5ish seconds before the viewer sees what the cause is. A quick shot of the one shaking the mech, then view from inside as the character gets frustrated.

I'd also suggest a replay button at the end. There wasn't one, so when I refreshed to re-watch, I got the pre-loader button, then "Thanks for Watching!" then the animation restarted. Having a stop command with the replay button will help keep music from looping weirdly (it didn't in this case, but it's a common issue).

What a strange series this is...

The sound of the breaking flowerpot, suspense for the next one! I'm enjoying them, keep it up!

Nice submission. It took me a while to realize it wasn't just a short seamless loop. Music sync'd well with the animation, which was cute and fun.

NathanielChamberlain responds:

um thats ok i will check on you later peregrinus ohj hey i am gonna upload a song that is allowed its call run theme

The vocaloid/Utau fans would do better to find this on "Southern Lights" Youtube channel, where they made their own content. Youtube link end BPjEouTyRcU

Please remember NG is not a Youtube aggregate, uploaders are supposed to be content creators, not content thieves.

you do know that recording something from youtube doesn't make it yours right.

Nice art, and the effects go nicely with it. I'd suggest maybe some nice background music. Check the audio portal under Other-Cinematic, I could see something there pairing well with it.

BlackUniGryphon responds:

Thanx. I agree.
I mostly made it as a test animation to see what I could do with it, and it was a lot of work.
I have several versions of it now. the audio version would've taken longer to upload. My internet is so bad.

I want buns of steel but also buns of cinnamon.
